(Fi'om Our Special Correspondent.! The first annual show iu connection with the Hutl Valley Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society will bo hold in the ilutt Drill Hall next Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets, which include a chance in an art union, have been sellins freely, and everything points to success. Sir. J. Duggan, the secretary, announces that the services of Mr. J. C. Brown, Government Expert, have been secured lor judging tho utility classes, and also those ot Mr. E. Bailey, Karori, as canary judge. Mr. Guthric, of Christchurch, an authority on pigeons, will judge that grade. Mr. Currie, ot Brooklyn, will judge light breeds and exhibition poultry, and Mr. J. Doig (Brooklyn) will judge the heavy breeds mid exhibition poultry. Arrangements have been made for winning pons in the Christchurch egg-laving competition to be on view. Excellent entries have been received. j
