FRIGATE KERSAINT.
DATE OF. ARRIVAL HERE. Mr. James Macintosh (Consular Agent for France) is in receipt of official advice that the French frigate Kersaint, now at Auckland, will be at this port from 2nd to 7th pros. Thereafter the . warship leaves for Port Chalmers, calling, en route, at Lyttelton and Akaroa. Spo'aking as Mayor of Wellington, Mr. Wilford asked tho chairman of the Harbour Board last evening if that body would be willing to co-operate with the City Council in entertaining tho officers and crow of the French warship which is to visit Wellington on February. 2 and 3 next. Mr. Fletcher replied that ho had the board would bo pleased to co-operate witlithe council in the matter.
