TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for The Dominion.) . . • .mondav. Ox tail and walnuts. Potatoes. Tur- . nips. Sago pudding. Stewed fruit. OX TAIL AND WALNUTS. One ox tail, 1 onion, a few cloves, pepper' and salt, 1 teaspoonful of suger, G pickled walnuts, IS- pints water, 1 oz. Wash and dry tho ox tail, cut it into pieces at the joints', remove the neoeffary lat, pj?l and slice the onion. Put the ox tail and onion into a stewpan with tho cloves, salt, pepper, and sugar. Just cover with water (about 1} pints), bring slowly to the boil, and skim well. Siminer gently from 2to hour.*, cut the walnuts into small pieces. Add them to the stew, and simmer for half an hour longer. Blend the (lour, stir it in, and cook well for about five minutes. ' FOR TO-MORROW. 6or Tibs, brisket'of beef. Suef. Carrots. . Turnips. Gelatine. 3 Lemons.
