"The Times" Vienna correspondent declares that the proposal to place the State Bank's metallio reserves, averaging 70 millions sterling, at the disposal of tho' Imperial German Bank is a significant dein,, international banking.
. The State Bank referred to is prethe Austro-Hungarian State Bank. Austria-Hungary has recently borrowed much money from Germany, and the new arrangement will make the financial , relations much closer than hitherto.'
