The Lord Chief Justico and Justices Hamilton and Ayor.v, of ' the King's Bench, are unanimous .in rejecting the appeal of Captain Halliday, of the Crown of Galicia, against the magistrate's decision cabled on July 5. Tho magistrate decided against Captain Halliday, who sought to upset, a Board of Trade's decision that, a fine of ,2100 must, not bo debited against the account, of a Chinese member of tho crew who deserted in Australia.
