The "Daily News" (liberal) states that there is strong reason for thinking thatthe Veto Conference is discussing, proposals for all-round dovolution, and Home Kulo for Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, and that no solution agreeable to all sides is possible without the general handling of the entire legislative machinery. This would imply a period of preparation, and the continuation of the truce throughout next summer is suggested, legislation of a constitutional character afterwards being, got; ready for the autumn. ■'■■'."''
