Messrs. Thomson and Brown report having submitted by auction yesterday, under instructions from the. Eegistrar of the Supreme Court, a property situate Ohiro Road, consisting of a six-roomed house, etable, and usual outbuildings, and four acres 3 roods and 39 perches of land. The property was sold to Messrs. Laery and Co. for tho sum of .£420. Messrs. Harcourt and Co. submitted at their auction room yesterday afternoon, under conduct of the Kogistrar of the Supreme Court, 24 acres of land at Houghton Bay, subdivided into building allotments and on which there was owing under agreement for sale for certain sections sold some .£1963. The bidding started at =£1000, and, after spirited and persistent rises, the property was ultimately knocked down to Mr. E. N.
