SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHING. (By Teicgrapb.— Press Association.) -•■..■ , Dunedln, March 23. ■: .At the Presbyterian Synod to-daj the committee which had been set up to formulate a scheme for training Sunday School teachers, presented its report. This report provided for the appointment of a lecturer on education in connection with the Theological College at a salary of £400 a year, with travelling allowance up to £50. It was ■proposed that the lecturer'-should leoturo to teachers, confer with superintendents of schools, give model lessons, etc. After discussion, it was decided that further'consideration of the matter be referred to the Theological College Committee to consider making provision, for teaching on education in Sunday School work'in connection with the Theological College,' both for students and Sabbath School teachers, and that the remainder'of the proposals be referred back to the committee to consider their financial aspect, and report. ■Professor Dickie, Professor of Theology in Knox College, was inducted to-' night. . .
