ACCIDENTS AND FAT ALITIES
KICKED BY A; TROTTER.

An old man named Charles Elliott, had his leg broken by a kick from a horse this morning. It appears thaf he was standing in. Mr. J. M'Kewenlt stable alongside one of his trotters, which was being greatly irritated by flies, when the animal accidentally caught Elliott on the thigh, and fractured the limb. The old man was conveyed to the hospital, where he is doing, as well as possible, but his age'is muck against him. .
A BICYCLE > ACCIDENT.
A young man named Alfred Lβ Compte, 20 years of age, residing in Queen Street, was thrown from hia bicycle yesterday,- when ■ riding down Rintoul Street.. He fell on his head,' and sustained concussion of the braia. On inquiry at Hospital ■ this morning, the-young man was stated to ba coming ■ round ■ satisfactorily. ' ■
