An address on "Goodwill" is to be given by Mr. A. S. Biss, F.N.Z.A.A., before a meeting of the Accountant's Strident Society to be held in the Chamber of Commerce this evening. Messrs. Harcourt and Co. will sell by public auotion at their rooms, 195 Lambton Quay, to-morrow, at 12 o'clock, the privileges in connection with the Wellington Earing Club's autumn meeting, to be held at Trentham on April 6 and 9, • The privileges consist of grandstand bar and members bar, publican's booth under tho people's stand. The public are reminded that from Thursday next steamers will run daily to and from Pipiriki, and that tho Tau-marunui-Wanganui service will be run as usual. Tho fare for the two dars' ont ing to Pipiriki is fixed at .£l, and the tariff at New Pipiriki House, for those stay-in" one week or more, at 7s. per diem. The. appointments of the new house are said to be very fine, and quite unique in the Hemispnero.
