Bell, president of the New Zealand Flaxniillers' Association, has received a favourable reply from the Union Company to tha request that tlio fifteen, shilling's special coal strike addition to freights on (lax and tow to Australia Would .be removed to prevent injury to that trade, although the company still has great difficulty in obtaining coal.
