SPORTS GROUNDS.

AREAS. STILL AVAILABLE. : '. According to a' report submitted to the City Council by the Baths and City Reserves Committee last night, grounds of a total area of 85 acres available for the purposes of general recreation and of sports clubs. ;'For a number.of' the areas,, applications had already been made. .The grounds were as under:—Wadestown Cricket Club, 2r.; Anderson Park, 4a.'2r., already formed; general recreation ground; near 'Anderson park, 2r., suitable for tennis courts Kelburne Park, Ba.j already formed, gcnoral recreation ground; Kelburne Parade,. 2a.' 3r., Kelburne Bowling Club ;• top of Ohirp Road, 2a; ( general recreation ground for Brooklyn; Nairn Street, 2a., general recreation ground; .area 0f.,8a. 1r.,. close to.abovejj Jam' Tin Gully, 2ar 2r:,' general, recreation ground; Pirie Street■'(near' tunnel)j '•'■ 4a., general rer creation ground for children; Kilbirnie, Ba. 2r. 25p.', general recreation ground': Kilbirnie,'. 2a. 2r.j Kilbirnie Bowling Club; Newtown Tennis Club, 3r. 36p., already granted and formed; Duppa Street, 5a., Jewish Club; Duppa Street, 15a., already formed, general recreation around; Duppa .Street (rear of), 18a., can do formed at. reasonable cost; Leraud Street, 3r.--.36p., suitable:for tennis courts; Leraud Street, 4a. 2r. 29p., general recreation ground.
