From Edithbiirg, via southern ports, the Scales chartered steamer Clan Ogilvy arrived yesterday morning. She has 600 tons of 6alt to discharge at Wellington preparatory to loading. The adverse weather of "yesterday greatly handicapped operations, but, it is expected that she will leave to-morrow for Picton and Auckland. The Clan Ogilvy, which is commanded by Captain Taylor, R.N.R., is tho fourth Clan liner chartered by Mr. G.H. Scales this wool; season, and it is anticipatbd that 'she will bo a full ship when she sails finally for London early in May.-. .... . i .--. ......
