Bayfield) from tho Queensland body stating that they \ are un? able : to include aft inter-State- fours in their, programme for. the championships to bo held in May.'.; As the New Zealand Association cided not to" send a representative eight made up of tho' Waitemata, arid Blenheim fours drows,: but to'send.a" four-oared team if-the race mentioned were included in the pro-gramme,-New .-Zealand .will not 'now'be represented. ■'; In his.' letter tho -Queensland secretary, expresses regret that they aro not to have the pleasure of a visit from a.New Zealand crew, 'particularly as the proposed visit' Had created great interest in Australia.
