STREET NAMES.
Sir, —Allow a visitor to New Zealand to say how dillicnlt it is for a stranger to find his way about Wellington, and the samo applies to other New Zealand towns, owing to the names of streets not being put up at nil corners. Even residents sometimes do not know the names of distant streets in their own town. Tho numbering of houses is often neglected or vory carelessly done: also, I hope this may reach the eyes of tho city fathers of Wellington and other towns, and that they will tako action, that New Zealand may bo as up-to-date in this matter as she is in others.—l am, etc., TOURIST. March 29.
