GOOD ENTRIES. INTERESTING FIELD EVENTS. , The fourteenth annual show, held under the Allspices of the Ekctahuna branch of the Farmers' TJnion yesterday was'an unqualified success from every standpoint. The horticultural exhibits, bothnumerically and for quality ; were far. in excess' of those of any previous exhibition. Tho field events wore particularly interesting, and closo contests were witnessed! W. J. Sedqole (Palliatua) practically swept the. board'in the horse events, witii his well-known performer Caloola. Tho officials all worked hard to insuro the success of tho gathering, and were, ably assisted by the energetic secretary, Mr. R. J. M'Lean. The following are the results':— _ Farm horso. —B.
