Tho trial of church clerk Sanchez, Rophon (Duran's nephow), and Anton—charged with having falsified n church record proving tho marriage of the dancer Josephine Duran prior to her alleged mnrriage with the late Lord Sackville—is proceeding. It is allegod that tho falsification was made in tho interests of tho Sackvillo claimant Ernest Henry Sackvillo West, said to be tho son of Duran and Lord Sackville.
Languin, a French interpreter, once employed by Ernest Henry Sackvillo West, and now in tho employ of tho other claimant Lionel Edward Sackville West (the late Lord Sackville's nephew) testified that Ernest gave Rophon 4000 pesetas for falsifying the register. . ..
