OBITUARY
Residents of this district would rc- I ceive with profound regret the news 1 on Thursday morning of the sudden death at his residence, Springvalc, Chat to Creek, of one of the most popular and best known figures in Central Otago, in the person of Mr John U. Keddeli. at the age of 60 rears. The late Mr Keddeli had spent practically his whole life in the ClydeAlexandra district and was an ontstaruling personality in the activities of the community. In his younger days he was a splendid all-round athlete,, being a great runner and a fine footballer. He was also a Boer ‘War veteran, being a member of the fourth Contingent. The late Mr j Keddeli was a man with a fine pleasant nature, of irreproachable character. highly esteemed and universally respected. His sudden passing will be received with feelings of deepest regret by' a host of friends in this (district and the sympathy of these is extended to a grown-up family of 1 two sons and two daughters. The late IMr Keddeli was predeceased bv his wife some 12 mouths ago. j ■» " ■ »'Li"
