(Before Mr 11. J. Dixon, S. M.j John Gillespie; Charged with op- ,* crating an unlicensed motor vehicle at Pembroke on 29th May, 1937. — Convicted and fined 10s, with costs I2S. John Wilson; Charged with driving a motor vehicle on the Hawea-Pem-broke main highway on 29th May, 1937, without being the holder of a driver’s license.—Convicted and ordered to pay costs 12s. Mr J as. C. Parcell, for John Hudson ? J made application to join F. R. Barker with U. Bailey in a previous action, J. Hodsoii v H. Bailey. Defendants had both gone to Hudson's mine when lie was absent and obtained the coal. Barker had agreed lo be joined with Bailey and had agreed to pay a certain amount and counsel for both parties suggested fliaf, as certain money had been paid, the application to join be struc k out, and Uhls was agreed to. Barker was ordered to pay £3 16s Q(l, and Bailey allowed £1 11s. {
