The following business of local interest was transacted at the monthly meeting of the Board, held in Dunedin :

The Commissioner intimated that Mr j. R. M'Culloch had been reappointed to the board for a further term of two years.—Received. Application for a fee simple of section 24, block XIV, Lower Wanaka (11a 2r Op), Beatrice L. Goodall.— Approved.

The Land Board was requested; to consider the issue of a certificate of title to William Trevathan ;»i respect of section 27, block X2V, Lower W'anaka S.D., area 12a or 27P.—Issue of certificate of title approved. The commissioner submitted for V.uaX consideration the application of Robert Walker, of Cromwell, to pu. chase sections 3, 10-12, block XVII, Town c< Cromwell (21a ir i6p).—Granted as from April Ist, .1931. The commissioner submitted for final consideration the application of L. W. Gleesoii and James Begg for areas of Crown lands in Tarras and Wakefield survey districts.— (1) L. W". Gleesoii granted a renewable lease over section 31, block 111. Wakefield' at a capital value of .£135.' (2) Surrender accepted of J. Begg's pastoral license 1703 over run 238 L, and a new license granted to him, in terms of section 277 of the Land Act. KJ24, over run 238L'. excluding- section 31, block 111. Wakefield (267 a 21' 20p), and including an area of 440 acres (approximately), being balance of the area previously held by him under miscellaneous license ; the term of the license to be for the residue of the term of 35 years from March 1, 1924, at the same rental as previously.
