Cromwell Tennis Club
The annual meeting of tin- Cromwell Tenuis Club was held in the Council Chamber-. on Wednesday, nth inst., Mr Jas. t. Parcel I in the chair. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted, on the motion of the chairman, who congratulated the club on the past successful season. The election of office-bearers tor the ensuing- year resulted as follows: President: Mr Jas. C. Parcel!. Vicepiesidents: Messrs- McDonald, MciViatty, and jO'Connor. Secretary: Mr Is. Auditor: Mr A. Stephens. General Committee: Messrs Jolly. McNatty. Misses Cartridge. Cordon, and Stumbles. Hnndicappeis; Miss Partridge and Mr B. Stumibles. Delegates to Sub-associa-tion; Messrs Parcel! and McNatty. Ladies Committee: Misses Partridge, Cordon, and Stumbles. New members were then elected. Opening day was left in the hands of the General Committee. It was decided to again enter t\\ > teams in the competition. The subscriptions were fixed at the same as last year—viz.. Cents 35*. Ladies 20s, |tiniors ius. Primarv School Children ss. The resignation of Mr Clarksou, past president, was accepted. Hearty votes of thanks to the president, office-bearers, and Press closed the meeting.
