At Perouue, France, a party of Australians sought to enter a cafe where many customers were seated, when a dispute arose The customers inside opened fire with revolvers and one Australian was killed and one wounded. In a storm on the Great Lakes, Canada, the steamer Runnels was pounded to pieces. Thirteen of the crow were rescued. A boy froze in the rigging. Sydney, November 15th. Light rain is now general, but heavier falls are required in the drought districts.
