Mr A. Crombie's Gold Valley (Lord Roslyn —Komuri) was a competitor at the Garston races on the 17th inst. The gelding finished out of a place in the Maiden in a held of six, but carrying D.7 was only beaten by a nock in the Flying Handicap, won by Glowworm 9.0. The owner was more successful in the Farewell, in which lie steered Tommy to victory in a field of six.
The popular Queousherry sporl ••Jack ” Perriani, will he represented at the Imrlmry Park Trots tins week witli Uan Mae. The Blaekehild gelding is reported to be going well, and sports in the district would ho pleased to hear of “Jack” catching the- judge’s eye.
