Stronaeh, Morris and Co. Ltd., report for week ending 10th. August as follows. — Fat cattle : —15(5 were penned, principally medium quality. Prices were fully up to last week. Fat slice)); —2(575 were penned. The sale commenced at about last week’s rates but prices declined considerably towards the end. Fat lambs :—-There \yas a small yarding of 3 Ml. the proportion of prime quality being small. Prices were easier than last week s. Babbitskins ;—We held our weekly sale yesterday when we offered au exceptionally large catalogue to a lull attendance of buyers. Bidding was not quite so keen as at the previous sale and although prime winter does pretty well held their own, second winters showed a considerable drop, in some eases as much as From 3d to tid a lb.
