The following business of local interest was transacted at the monthly meeting of the above held on Thursday and Friday in Dunedin : —- Mrs Elsie Brown applied for a lease over two acres on the west side of the Kawarau River, between Pipeclay Gully and Bailey’s Gully, Run No. 33d. —Applicant to be informed that an application for an occupation lease would bo favourably considered. Brodnck and Chalmcr, on behalf of G. B. Gordon, applied for a renewable lease over section 2, block IV, Bannockburn district.— Declined as land is to be opened on occupation lease on a date to bo fixed and advertised. The application by Win. F. Robertson for an occupation lease over 95 acres. Nevis district, now section 29, block 111, Nevis district, was granted ; capitai value 2-5s per acre. The boird was requested to fix the capital value of section 29, block V, Cromwell district, granted to Mrs M. F. Wood, tor cash. — Capital value fixed at £1 per acre. The board was requested to authorise the Receiver of Laud Revenue to deal with the sum of £39 17s 6d paid as valuation for improvements on s.g. run No. 236 d, Wna M'Aughtrie, lessee.—Receiver authorised to pay over.
