Handicaps for the Tradesmen’s Handicap and Two and a-half mile Trot will appear in the Cromwell Argus of Bth October, Acceptances before 8 p.m. on night of general entry (THURSDAY, 10th October). Nominations for the Handicap Hack Race and the Handicap Flutter to be sent to the Secretary not later than 8 p.m. on night of general entry. Handicaps for the Hack Race will be posted at 10.30 on night of general entry. Acceptances to 10.30 day of race. Handicaps for the Flutter, Spring Handicap and Two-mile Trot, on the course. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of stakes for expenses. The meeting will be held under the rules of the Dunedin Jockey Club, Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. Any person entering a protest must deposit £2 and should such be deemed frivolous by the Stewards, the amount shall bo forfeited. N.B.—No entries or acceptances will be received on any pretext whatever after the time specified, and cash must accompany all entries, and performances in case of Trots. JAMES MARSHALL, Secretary.
