CLYDEVALE FORESTERS.
ANNUAL PTONIC. A very enjoyable outing was held in Mr Mitchell's paddock, Clydevale. on Christmas Day, when the' Court Pride of 'Clutha Valley. A.O.F. and friends met for "a picnic and cricket match. Bro. W. Murray prepared a pitch and made a good, job of it, and tin- Clutha Cricket Club kindly lent the necessary material for which, the committee were thankful. Teams were picked 'by (Messrs W. McCallum and K. Pannett, and after a good game the former were dec'lared wiiinrs 'by three runs. For the winners A. IMitehell made 25. Paape 18, G. Dunlop 15, A. 'Murrav T2. -Christie 6, A. Craig 4, W. MeCailum 3, J. Cole 2, A. His-lop 1, E. Carniody 1, extras R. For the losers J. Craig .made 25, 'W. Murray 13, E. Panuett 10, F. Hanson 7, W. Goodman 3, H. Xehoff 7, .1. Mitelieil 6, V. Wilson 2, .1. Stirling I. 'ln the bowling W. Murray took 7 wickets, H. Xelioff 2, Paape 3, and A. 'Murray 2. For those not engaged, in cricket, other games 'were arranged and the .members of the Foresters Court were kept 'busy attending to the pleasure of the visitors. There was an abundance of refreshments and the weatKer was all that could !be desired.
