♦ »» Mr J. D. Willoeks,' Stirling, received a private cable message yesterday stating that his second son, Sergeant-major A. J. Willoeks, had been admitted to the Second LoDdon General Hospital suffering from a severe gunshot wound in the back.

In the latest casualty list appear the names of Private Henry Hand, who was wounded' and admitted to" hospital on June 30 (Mr Henry Hand, Queen Street, Milton, father); and Rifleman James Edward Morgan, woundedi on July 1 (Mr D. Morgan, Te Houka, father). ' Lieutenant Colin 'Bryce, of the 16th Reinforcements, arrived at Balelutlia last evening on final furlough. Among the New" Zealanders who are returning by the transport "Ulimaroa" are the following from this district:— Riflemen George T. Styles (next-of-kin, Margaret E. Baine, Clinton), Private Wm. A. Benfell (neit-of-kin, F. Benfell, Kelso) John Mcintosh (next-of-kin, J. B. Mcintosh, Milton).

The frends of Mr W. Mclntyre (Balclutha), who was seriously injured about 12 months ago 'by being crushed) with a truck, will regret to learn that he has suffered a rather severe relapse, and has been ordered to the Dunedan Hospital to undergo an operation,
