SUfcNSIDE STOCK MAR«ST. Wednesday, Match 18. Fat Cattle.—ls9 weft) yarded, including some pens of very prime bullocks-. Owing to large supplies oh hand bidding by butchers Was not brisk. Prime cattle showed a drop of about 5s per head, but medium and cow beef dropped 10a to 15s per head. Best bullocks, £ll to £l2 ss; extra good, to £l4 10s; medium, £9 15s to £lO 10s;'light, £7 10s to £8 10sj best cows and heifers, £9 10s to £lO 10s; medium, £7 to £8 ss; light, £4 10s to £O. Fat Sheep.—3sß6 were penned, mostly medium-weight ewes and wethers. Prime sheep sold up to last week's rates, but medium showed a drop of from 6d to Is per head. The operations of freezing buyers tended to regulate prices a good deal. Best wethers, 24s to 25s <9d; extra, to 29s ;M; medium to good, 21s 6d to 235; light, 18s 6d to 20s; best ewes, 21s to 235; extra, to 265; medium, ISs- to 19s; light, 13s 6d to 17s.
Fat Lambs.—lloo were penned, the majority being of very good quality. Prices were firm at last week's rates. Best lambs, 18s to 19s; extra, to -23s 3d; good, 16s 6d to 17s fid; light, 13s 3d to 15s fid.
