A FIIJE DISPLAY ASSURED. It is pleasing to state that the Dun« ediu Expansion League has organised an Industries' and Gala Weelt for Anniversary week, March 2!) to 28. Country resident* are urged not to miss this unique opportunity of acquainting themselves with the extent, variety, \ high standard and general excellence of the manufactures of Otago. The Railway Department has agreed to issue tickets at holiday excursion fares to Dunedin from all stations between Oamaru and Clinton, and in addition to this inducement to people in the country the Dunedin Expansion League has organised a number of entertainments, etc. The week will be a festival of industry, pleasure and enjoyment. The festivities include tlfe Caledonian Society's sports on Anniversary Day (Monday), the Otago Rowing Association's regatta at Port Chalmers, grand open-air concert in the Bolanic Gardens, excursions down the Otago Harbour, motor rides round the city, swimming carnival in the new municipal baths (said to be the fineit ia the Dominion),

'great Anniversary "gala" entertainment in His Majesty's Theatre, special fire brigade demonstrations, special programmes at the picture palaces, and a magnificent motor gymkhana and floral fete at Tahuna Park, the finest thing of its kind ever held in Otago. Dunedin is a grand place to go to at any time of the year, but it will be five times more attractive during this splendid week of festivities.
