CLYDEVALE SALEYARDS.
The first annua! general meeting of shareholders of the Clydevale Saleyards Society, Limited, was held at Clydevale on Saturday evening, February 28, when there was a good attendance of shareholders. Mr A. C. Kee, chairman of the provisional committee of management, reported that the society had secured an excellent site of two acres of the ferry reserve, and the construction of the yards (which would have a capacity of about 3000 sheep and 100 head of cattle) would be put in hand immediately. The shares had been taken up readily, and there was every prospect of the society being very successful. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows:—Chairman and treasurer, Mr A. C. Kee; secretary, Mr G. E. Mitchell; auditors, Messrs R. Tout and H. E. Pitt; committee of management, Messrs .1. Craig, C. F. Overton, D. Murray, H. Snushall, W. Hall and H. Morrison.
