Mr Vedgewood Benn, one of tho Government Whips, relating stories of Parliament at a meeting at the Jewish Institute, London, said that on one occasion two members who were washing when the division bell rang put on the wrong coats in their hurry to be in time. After the division they sought out each other, and were in the act of removing their eoats to exchange them when several bystanders apparently fearing there was to be a fight, rushed up excitedly and exclaimed: "Not here, gentlemen, please."
