WEDDING.

.K)N'ES-DRAPER. The residence of Mr G. W. Draper, Union Street, Milton, was the venue, at noon on Wednesday, says the Bruce Herald, of an interesting and pretty hymeneal ceremony, in which Miss Violet, lil'th and youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. W. Draper, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr Wm. .Jones, son of Mrs Loveday •Jones, Moray Place, Dunedin, The nuptial ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Howard, and the. bride, who was given away by her father, was becomingly attired in white embroidered muslin, with bridal veil and wreath of orange blossoms, while she carried a handsome shower bouquet. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss S. Ward Draper, who was attired in white muslin, and Mr Walter Baird officiated in the capacity of best man. The bridal ceremony concluded, the >arty sat down to the wedding breakfast, and felicitations were showered on the newly-imarried couple, best wishes being cordially expressed for their uture welfare and happiness. The toast of "The Happy Couple" was proposed by Rev. Father Howard in a ■icat speech, and responded to by the bridegroomi. "The Parents" was proposed by Mr Baird, and responded to by the bride's father ; "The Bridesmaid" was duly honoured, and responded to by the best man. The happy couple were the recipients of many tangible, tokens of the esteemi in which they are -held by a large circle ,of friends, the comprehensive display including both ornamental and useful household articles. During the afternoon the bisitors were courteously shown through the Bruce Woollen Mills, and greatly appreciated the opportunity afforded of witnessing the manufactures in progress. The newly-married couple left in the >vening per motor car for their now lome in Dunedin, and were sent forward on life's journey amid showers of I rice and confetti, accompanied wit} ■ best wishes. The bride's travelling ' dress was a heather tweed costume, , with hat to match.
