On being put to the vote it was found that the ayes were in the minority. All the performers sustained their parts in a very praiseworthy manner. Great credit is due to the teacher (Miss Grono) who must have exercised both time and patience in bringing the children to the state of perfection in which they acquitted themselves. The chairman thanked those prosent for their patronage and the performers for their valuable services. A service of light refreshments was handed round and highly enjoyed. Afterwards the hall was cleared and a couple of hours dancing indulged in, music being supplied by Mr <J udge. (violin) and Mrs Judge (piano). The duties of M.C, were undertaken by Mr J. McGuffog who performed his duties with every satisfaction. The secretarial duties were faithfully carried out by Mr W. Carrick.
