Most butchers had supplies on hand, and the few buyers soon had what they required. The sale opened with prioes about Is better than last week, but. soon dropped again to the previous week's levels. Best wethers 18s to 19s 3d, extra 21s, medium 15s to 17s 6d, inferior and light 10a 6d to 14s, best ewes 15s to 17s 6d, medium 12s to 14s sd, inferior 9s to lis.
