BURNSIDE STOCK SALES.
Note. — These sales will open at 8 o'clock sharp on Wednesday next.
Fat Cattle.— 2oo head yarded, The demand for best beef was good, and recent values were fully maintained. Values for other qualities declined from 10s to 15s per head.
Fat Sheep.— 2ls6 penned. Really wellfinished sheep maintained recent quotations, but with all others there was a decline of from Is to Is Gd.
Fat Lambs. — 472 penned, fully two- thirds of them fit to freeze, and these were eagerly competed for by exporters, and realised from 11s to 12s. Ordinary butchers' lambs brought from 10s to 10s Gd.
