BURNSIDE STOCK SALES.
Fat Cattle.—lo7 head yarded. Prices showed a fall of fully 10s per head, and towards the end of the sales even more. Best bullocks brought from LI los to L 9 10s—a few extra prime LlO to LlO 17s Gd, good LG to L 7 10s, best cows and heifers LG to L7 2s Gd, good do Li 10s to L 5 15s. Sheep.—2oo)3 penned. The supply was too heavy, and only in the case of really good lots was there anything like fair competition, and a fall of fully Is was tho result. Best wethers in the wool brought 34s 3d, do shorn up to lO.s, best owes in wool up to 13s, do shorn up to 9s. Lnmbs.—fiflO forward, and proved a very full supply, so much so that values fell Is to Is Gd per head. Best 9s to 10s Gd, oood 7?; Gd to 8s Gd. ' Pigs.—lS-5 forward to an increased demand, especially for suckers, slips, stores, and porkers, and one of the best, if not tho best, sales of tho year was the result. Baeoners were not well represented, bub tho clonmml for this class is not keen. Suokcrs, (.)s to lG.s, slips IDs to 21s Gd, stores 21s to 295, porker* 31s to 375, baaaners 41s to 525.
