Fat Cattle.— l 26 head yarded. For best quality the competition was fairly k<jen, and the prices ruling were very much on a par with those of la?fc week. Be3t bullocks brouaht L 8 hi L 9 17s 6.1 — a few pens extra heavy, LlO +.0 LIL 12s fid ; medium bullocks L 6 2s fid to L7ls< others L 5 5s to Lfi. best cows L 6 12s 6d to L 7 17s 6d : otlura L 4 10s to L 6 7s 6d. Fat Sheep. — 1 675 crossbred* and 190 morinos penned. Competition was not keen and there was no decided advance iv pries.c s. Best crossbred wethers brought 12* 6d to 14s b"d, a few pens extra heavy 15s to los 6J ; best jroa^bred ewes l(h to 1 2s 6 1, medium wethers 10s 6i to 1 2s, medium owes 7s 6d to t)s 6d; merino wethers 3s fid to 5s G<l. Fat Lambs. — Ouly 40 penned, which sold at from 7s to 8s 3d . Pigs. — Only 48 forwaid, mostly suckers, with, a few porkers and baconers. The sales throughout were dull and no advance was noticeable —Slips brought 7s to 12a, porkers 22s to 26-s 6d, and one or two pens of baconers 42s to 50s.
