DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORTS.

Wheat. — The short supply in store is creating more confidence ami leading to a more active tone locally. Buyers appear to be daily more anxious to secure supplies, which arc not by any means coming to hand very freely. The deliveries up to date (the greater portion from North Otago and Canterbury) are less by one-half compared with the quantity to hand up to the same time last season. There is. however.no change in values, but last weeks' prices are readily obtainable for o.ny offering. Quotations : Prime milling velvet 2s lOd to 2s lid ; medium to good ditto and best Tuscan 2s 8:1 to 2s 9.1 ; medium to good red wheat 2s 5d to 23 7d ; inferior to good whole fowls' wheat 2s to 2s 4d (ex store, sfjfcks weighed in, terms). Oats. - There is no improvement in prices ; indeed the tone of the market in respect both to demand and value is, if anything, less satisfactory, and ifc is surmised that it will bn difficult to maintain present prices. Quotations : Best bright., stout milling Is 5Ad to Is 6d ; choice Is fihil ; best short feed bright and full la 5d to Is s|d ; medium to good Is 4d to Is sd ; inferior to medium Is 3d to Is 4d : long Tartarians, ir. small lots, range from Is 6^d to Is 9d (ex store, sacks extra, net).

Bailey;— Market quiet; no business of auy importance passing. Quotations : Prime malt, ins; 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; medium to good 3s to 3s 3d ; milling 2s 3d to 2s 9.1 ; feed (no sale) Is 6d to Is 9d (ex store, sacks oxtra)/

, Grass Seeds.— The market is without alteration. Good, clean ryegrass seed is saleable, hut buyers are not disposed to give prices demanded by sellers, who are holding meantime with a view of doinj? better further on. Quotations : For best machine dressed 2s 9d to 3s 3d ; choice perennial 3s 6d to 4s (ex store, net). Cocksfoot ; Best dressed 0.4 dto GM ; medium 4d to 5d per lb (ex store).

Potatoes, — The supply is in excess of requirements, arad . only a hand to moutli business is being done. The market in consequence is necessarily quiet. Quotations for best denvents L 2 to L 2 ss ; medium LI 15s to L 2; best kidneys fit for seed L 2 10s to L 3 10s per ton fa store, sacks weighed in. ii"t).

Dairy Produce. —Prime salt butter dairy made is in fair demand fetching Id to 8d ; medium 4d to Gd ; factory made 91 to Wd per lh. Factory made cheese in full supply. Medium size 44d to 4§d ; loaf do 4-f 1 to 5d ; .dairy made 2d to id per lb.

Flax. — There is no demand, and deliveries have almost ceased. Quotations, nominally, for medium to good Li 3 10s to Ll4 10s ; inferior to medium Lid to Ll2 per ton, (ex store).
