Fat Cattle. —l 22 head yarded, nearly all prime beef. Prices wre slightly higher than those of last week. Best bullocks brought L 8 15s to LlO 2s Rd : medium to good L 7 15* to~LB 12s 6d; light L 6 5s to L 7 12s Gd ; best cows L 8 to L 8 15s ; meilium to jrood Lo 2s 6d to L 7 17s 6(1 : light and aged L 2 17s fid to 15. Fat Sheep. — 2-Ju"o penned, which was rather in excess of requirements, and best sheep suffered a drop from Is to Is 6d per head compared with last week's prices. best crossbred wethers brought i:?-» 6d to 15s ; one or two pens extra heavy 15s 6d to 16s 3d ; medium to good 10s 6d to 13s ; best crossbred ewes Os 6d to 12s 3d ; ffxtra heavy 12s 6d to 1 3s 6d ; light and aged 7s 6d to 8s 9d ; merino wethers 5s to 6s 9d.
Fat Lambs.— 79 penned, and sold at prices ranging from os 6d to 8s 6d.
Pigs.— o6 penned of the usual variety. Suckers brought 6s 6dto lls 6d ; slips 14s to 17s ; stores 18s to 2ts; porkers 26s to 235; baconers 29s dd to 44s ; extra heavy 525.
