GREENVALE HOMESTFAD AND STOCK.
Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report having sold privately, on account of the executors of the Late James Logan, the homestead block, containing 982 acres or thereabouts, and comprising section, 43, block IT., Greenvale, sections 53, 24, and 25, part of 26, 32, p.b., 33 P.R., 34, and 35, block 111., Glenkenick, together with
the dwelling-house, woolshed, sheepyards, slables, barn, granary, implement shed, and all other improvements ; and aho the very select Romney Marsh flock of sheep, 811 in number, and consisting of 387 4, 6, and 8-tooth ewea, 128 2-tooth ewes, 268 ewe lambs, 21 ram lambs, and 7 stud rams. Both land and sheep were sold at a satisfactory price to Mr John B. Logan, who is to be complimented on having kept 'the old homestead in the family, besides having made a purchase which, under careful management, is bound to prove profitable. There now only remain unsold on the original Green vale estate, which comprised '23,000 acres, three farms, containing about 3,000 acres chiefly of first-class pastoral country ; and for these, the executors are now open to receive offers by private treaty.
