DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORTS.

Wheat. — There is no alteration in the loct\l market or improvement in quotations from the London market. Prime milling sells readily when offered and stocks are light. There is good demand for full grown, whole fowls feed. Quotations same as before : For prime milling Tuscan and velvet 2s 8d to 2s 9d— a shade more for extra choice velvet-; medium to good 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; inferior to medium, 2s to 2s srl (ex storo, sacks weighed in, terms). Oats. — There is fair enquiry for immediate delivery both for shipment coastwise and for local use. Millers have been buying freely all in hands for disposal at full rpt.es. Shippers have also been purchasing all on offer in the execution of orders on hands but they are not disposed to speculate, even at present low rates. Stocks are. not accumulating in store to any appreciable extent, deliveries being eery much below the average of previous seasons.- Quotations : Prime milling Is 6£d to Is 7d ; best bright stout feed Is s|d to Is 6d ; medium to good Is 4£d to Is 5.Jd ; inferior Is 3d to Is id (ex store, sacks extra, not). Barley. — Some slight enquiry for prime malting for export, bub prices demanded prohibit much, business. Milling has only a very moderate demand, and feed is neglected. Quotations (nominal) : For prime malting 3s 6d to 3s 9d — extra choice a- shade more ; medium to good 3s to 3s 3d ; milling 2s 3d to 2s 9d • feed Is 6d to la 9d (ex store, sacks extra). Grass Seeds. — -Moderate demand for well cleaned short shotty ryegrass seed. Undressed lots are more difficult to place, unless the seed is really good. Quotations : For best machinedressed 2s 9d to 3s 3d ; choice and guaranteed perennial 3s 6d to 4s (ex store, net) —Cocksfoot : Moderate demand, supplies low. Best dressed is worth s.^d to 6d ; medium 4d to od per Ib. Potatoes.— Deliveries lately have been largely in excess of requirements, and the mark-t in consequence is much weaker- Quotations : For best Demerits L 27s 6d to L 2 12s 6d ; medium JL2 to 1.2 5a j prime seed kiJnejs, L 3to L 3 17s 6d ; inferior and coarse L 2 to L 2 17s 6d per ton (ex efcore, sacks weighed in, net). Dairy Produce. — Wo chnnge. Prime salt butter, dairy made s£d to 6d ; medium 3id to 4.M ; factory made Dd to lOd per lb. Factory cheese : Medium tiz-i 4^l to 4^d j loaf do 4Jd to 5d ; dairy'made 2d to 4cl per 10. Flax.— No apparent improvement. Siles are' extremely; difficult to effect.
