Wheat. — There is no alteration in the loct\l market or improvement in quotations from the London market. Prime milling sells readily when offered and stocks are light. There is good demand for full grown, whole fowls feed. Quotations same as before : For prime milling Tuscan and velvet 2s 8d to 2s 9d— a shade more for extra choice velvet-; medium to good 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; inferior to medium, 2s to 2s srl (ex storo, sacks weighed in, terms). Oats. — There is fair enquiry for immediate delivery both for shipment coastwise and for local use. Millers have been buying freely all in hands for disposal at full rpt.es. Shippers have also been purchasing all on offer in the execution of orders on hands but they are not disposed to speculate, even at present low rates. Factory cheese : Medium tiz-i 4^l to 4^d j loaf do 4Jd to 5d ; dairy'made 2d to 4cl per 10. Flax.— No apparent improvement. Siles are' extremely; difficult to effect.
