DUNEDIN PRODUCE REPORTS.

Wheat,— Transactions are on a limited scale. The quantity forwarded by rail to Duuedin this season ia only about half of tliat which came to hand up to the same date last season. A very fair demand exists, and all sorts saleable at the following quotations -say for prime milling, Tuscan and velvet 2s 8d to 2s 9d ; medium to good 2s 6d to 2s 7d ; inferior to medium 2s to 2s 4d (ex store, sacks weighed iu, terms). Oats.— The market, whilst quiet, remains firm, but the business done is not extensive, owing to growers holding for rcore satisfactory prices. Quotations tliis week differ but little from last week's, aud are : Fer prime milling Is 6d to Is 6^l • host short feed Is 5. V1 to Is 6d ; medium, to good Is 3£d to Is 5.4d ; Danish Is 3£d to Is fid ; black ordinary Is 4d to Is 4hd ; pure, fit for seed Is 3d to Is 6d ; lons Tartarians, fit for seed Is 6^d to Is 9d (ex store, sacks extra, net). Barley.-- The quantity to hand up to the present is just double the quantity to hand up to the same date last year. There is no demand of • any consequence, and the bulk of consignments go into store. Quotations are merely nominalsay, for prime malting 3s 6d to 3s 9d— extra choice a shade more ; medium to good 3s to 3s M ; milling 2s 3d to 2s 9d ; feed Is 6d to Is 9d (ex store, sacks extra). Grass Seeds.— Market quiet, but on change in quotations, which nrc : For bpst machine dressed ryegrass seed 2s 9d to 3s M ; choice perennial 3s 6d to 4s (ex store) : cocksfoot best dressed 5d to 6d ; medium 4d to 5d per lb Potatoes.— The market is more than fully supplied, aud prices in consequence are irregular — say, for best Derweuts L2 12s 6J to L2 17s 6d , medium L2, 7s 6d to L2 10s; kidneys only choicest kinds wanted for seed) from L3 to L3 12s 6d per ton (ex store, sacks weighed in, net). Dairy Produce. — Market unchanged. .Prime salt butter, dairy made, slow sale at 5 Ad to fid ; medium 3 Ad to 4£d ; factory made 9d to lOd per \h. Factory cheese : Medium size 4Ad to 4gd ; loaf do 4grl to ort ; dairy made 2d to id per lb. Flax. — The market remains exceedingly quiet. Buyers are not disposed to operate even at present low quotations, which are. now merely nominal - say, for medium to good Ll3 100 to Ll4 10s ; inferior to medium LlO to Ll2 per ton. (ex store).
