CLUTHA SALES.

Wilson Cameron and Co., report as follows: On Friday last we held our usu;il bi-monthly sale at our yards, when we yarded and sold on behalf of various vendors 2567 sheep as follows Wethers gs to 11s ; breeding ewes 8s; lambs 3s 6d to Ba—according to quality; merino p.wes 2s 3d ; do wethers 3s ; cows L6 : young pigs 9s. There was a large attendance at the sale, but bidding for sheep was slnck, and several lines yarded were turned out not reaching vendors' reserves. The New Zealand Lond Association report aa follows: —We held our regular sale by auction last Friday, at Balclutha, when very fair entries of both sheep and cattle were presented. There was also a very good attendance of buyers and others interested. All the cattle offered sold readily and at prices up to vendors' expectations, but the demand for sheep, though fair, was less brisk on this occasion. Thirty seven head of cattle were sold at prices ranging from L2 12s 6d to L7 7s 6d ; 479 crossbred wethers at 9s 5d to 12s 6d ; 1243 crossbisd lambs at 5s 6d to 7s; 34 crossbred owes aged and low conditioned at 6s lid; a few aged merino ewes at Is 7d ; and about 150!) crossbred wethers and ewes were passed out unsold owiug to vendors' reserves being rather high.
