Wheat.— The market displays but little animation. Only a limited business is being done, and to force s:\les sellers would find it necessary to make further concessions, except for the primest lots of sound milling. Fowls wheat is in fair demand hut the supply being excessive prices are slightly easier. Quotations : Prime milling Tuscan and velvet 2s 7d to '2a Sd ; cboioe velvet Id to 2d more ; medium to good 2s 5d to 2s 6d ; inferior to medium 2s to 2s 4d (ex store, sacks weighed in, terms).
