Fat Cattle.— ll2 head yarded, the greater part of very ordinary quality, only very few pens being prime. Although the supply was only a moderate one competition was not very brisk, and prices ruling on this occasion did not come up to those obtaining last week, weights compared Best quality bullocks brought L 9 iOs to LlO 10s ; medium' L8 to L 8 15s; light LQ 103 to L 7 12s 6d ; best cows L 6 10s to L 7 17s 6d ; medium L 5 10s to L 6 10s • light and aged L 2 17s fid to L 5 ss. Fat Sheep— l22o penned, all crossbreds, mostly ewes, representing all qualities but-none extra heavy. The entry proved quite sufficient for requirements, and prices showed no improvement on those of lust week.
