.■ ' • ■' ' • ■ ■» — '■ ' Our Wellington- contemporary ' Fair Play ' has been giving very clever ~ phrenological delineations of; the members, of the new Parliament, which are being read with interest. Amongst others is given a very well-executed likeness of Mr Thos, Mackenzie, M.H.8., and the following phrenological delineation : — Mr Mackenzie has a well-balanced organisation, the three temperaments being about equally blended, in him. He is observant and keenly alive to all' that is passing around him. He. can individualise/perceive the form, size, weight, and colour of things at a glance. Powers of calculation and arrangement are very good. He has a fine mechanical head, and would excel in engineering, contracting, laying out and executing works generally. The literary organs aye large, giving .him a good memory for facts, dates, and general history. n He would make a successful journalist, lawyer, or teacher. Language is not large, but it is smart and' very direct. Force and activity of mind are his leading traits. He has a good all round head, well fitted for important mental work'; He has good^sense and knows how to use it. His activity may, run him into extremes at times but he soon adjusts himself again. He will be a smart, useful member of the House.
