Amongst others is given a very well-executed likeness of Mr Thos, Mackenzie, M.H.8., and the following phrenological delineation : — Mr Mackenzie has a well-balanced organisation, the three temperaments being about equally blended, in him. Language is not large, but it is smart and' very direct. Force and activity of mind are his leading traits. He has a good all round head, well fitted for important mental work'; He has good^sense and knows how to use it. His activity may, run him into extremes at times but he soon adjusts himself again. He will be a smart, useful member of the House.
