LAWN TENNIS.

A match was played on the local green on Saturday last - between teams representing Kaitangata and Balclutha Clubs. The latter team scored a decided victory, for, although Kaitangata won two sets, Balclutha. won every event. Rain fell during the afternoon and somewhat marred the pleasure of the games, and considerably interfered with the play. Appended are the scores : — Gentlemen's Doubles.
