The Canterbury Junior Tennis Association has released names of its age-group teams event early next year. They are:—
16 years (in Hamilton from January 2 to 6).— Girls: Pieta Johnson, Sally Ormandy, Leanne Tomlinson, Susan Cochrane, Kirston Scholes. Coach: Hamish Faulls. Boys: Justin O’Malley, Jason Loveridge, Andrew Mehrtens, Chris Small, Matthew Jenman. Coach: Brian Faulls. Chaperon: Joan O’Malley.
14 years (at Wildidg Park from January 16 to 20).— Girls: Adele Orangi, Juliet Penny, Nicky Tippens, Kate Thompson, Maia Hohepa. Coach: Michael Mooney. Boys: Jonathan McHarg, Barnaby Hawes, Darryl Bruce, Hamish Hunt, Andrew North. Coach: Alistair Chapman.
