Aviation talks planned

An industry-wide aviation conference will be held in Wellington next month to finalise recovery of costs and Ministry of Civil Aviation Air Transport Division staffing levels. This will follow two months consultation on the issues.
The Minister of Transport, Mr Jeffries, said it was desirable the Government get an outside evaluation of Air Transport Division staff resources. He had asked an Australian air safety specialist, Mr R. C. O’Day, and a New Zealand consultant,
'■ Mr Murray McGregor of Tauranga, to evaluate the > resources and report to ‘ him before the conference.
